Randy Couture moves down from heavyweight to fight Chuck Liddell at light heavyweight who was then the number 1 contender to take on Tito Ortiz (the current UFC light heavyweight champion at the time). Both fighters were fighting for the Interim UFC Light Heavyweight Belt.

Chuck Liddell's martial arts background stems from Kempo karate and Koei-Kan karate but also using his strong wrestling defense skills to stuff takedown attempts. Couple those mma skills with an unorthodox boxing style.
