On May 23rd, 2009 witness the epic fights between Rashad Evans vs. Lyoto Machida & Matt Serra vs. Matt Hughes. Both are co-main events for UFC 98 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. There are going to be some serious fireworks in store for this event.

Rashad Evans, winner of the Ultimate Fighter has totally stepped up his MMA game coming from just a wrestling background. Evans has reinvented himself with each and every fight in the Octagon. He keeps getting better and better.

Lyoto Machida is highly technical and is definitely no slouch when it comes to Mixed Martial Arts. His rule is to do much more damage to your opponent while avoiding damage altogether. He finishes his opponents usually without a scratch.

Matt Serra and Matt Hughes? Just bad blood and lots of it. Matt hates the other Matt. They really don't like each other and both fighters are really looking forward to beating down the other Matt in the Octagon come May 23rd. The hate started even before they were coaches on the Ultimate Fighter, during and even after that for years up until now. A LOT of dislike. Forget about getting the win in this fight. All they care about is the beatdown in the UFC Octagon. Witness the hate when the bell rings.

We all know from watching UFC's The Ultimate Fighter TUF that Matt Serra thinks Matt Hughes is a penis from the way Matt Hughes threw smart comments at George St. Pierre on the show. Matt Serra takes you along with him during his PR day. All day with a training session in between. This on only a few hours of sleep. Matt Serra still has no love for Matt Hughes and can't wait for his fight against him at UFC 98 on May 23rd.

On January 11th, 2007 the MMA world was shocked to hear that veteran UFC fighter Randy Couture was coming out of retirement to fight the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia for the belt at UFC 68 on March 3rd 2007.
